Professor Zhang Xin serves as a professor, a doctoral supervisor, and the Dean in the Faculty of English Language and Culture, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies. She was a visiting scholar at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, funded by the China Scholarship Council, and a visiting scholar at the University of Hong Kong. Her primary research areas include English literature, future humanities and interdisciplinary literary studies, as well as foreign language education and teaching. She has led over ten research projects in foreign literature and foreign language education reform, and has published more than 40 academic papers, many of which are indexed in A&HCI and CSSCI.
