Yunfeng Wang is currently a teacher of English at the Faculty of English Language and Culture at Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in China. He holds a BA degree in English Language and Literature, an MA degree in Applied Linguistics, and a PhD in Applied Linguistics (Second Language Acquisition). He currently teaches and researches Communicative Language Teaching in the English classroom, language education, materials development, and teacher training. In the past twenty years, he has served as the director of the ELT division of the Faculty and published two books L2 Learning ofthe English Passive by Chinese Learners (2009), Contemporary British Culture and Society (Teachers’ Book) (2013), and a paper Curriculum Ideology and Politics under the Concept of Whole-person Education: Taking the Course Communicative English for Chinese Learners as an Example in Foreign Languages in China (2021).
