Biographical Note
FANG Kairui is professor of English, PhD students’ supervisor, head of the PhD program in English language and literature, and vice-chairman of the Academic Board in the Faculty of English Language and Culture, Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in Guangzhou, China. He received his PhD in English language and literature at Peking University (2002-2006), worked as a visiting fellow in the Department of English and Linguistics, Lancaster University (2009) and as a Fulbright VRS in the Department of English, Yale University (2012-2013). His research focuses on narrative and narrative translation studies, literary stylistics, and the history of Sino-foreign cultural exchanges.
